Alexandra Holland conducted her PhD research at the Bristol Glaciology Center at the University of Bristol, England, where she investigated biogeochemical interactions in surface ice environments of Arctic glaciers and ice sheets. Her passions revolve around research and conservation in the polar regions as they are highly vulnerable to the current changing climate.
